It’s a different kind of hot. These days, artists carefully craft their look as much as their music for each tune or video. Taylor Swift is the perfect expression of this, and I think she’s great. Linda Ronstadt was of a time when artists sang first and let that other stuff be second.

Also, a guy’s personal definition of ultimate hotness is formed by the babes he sees in his teen years.

I have to agree, if you are comparing early to early, which is only fair look at Taylor Swift’s “Teardrops on My Guitar” video for example, she was/is hot. Linda Ronstadt was certainly cute, and I guess looks are debatable, but as far as who was the better singer, well that one is a pretty easy call.

Agreed. Dash will not stand for anyone saying bad shit about miss Ronstadt. Also I’m largely unfamiliar with Taylor Swift, though I assume she’s involved in what comes out of the ceiling speakers in shopping malls.
